Assessments - a listing of course activities
All activities are expected to be turned in on time and should contain no spelling mistakes, and little if any grammar mistakes. Assignments that are deemed unacceptable will be turned back for re-submittal and will be subject to the late grade policy noted in the syllabus if not turned back in by the due date. To avoid missing points please turn all work in as early as possible.

Lesson 1
Activity 1: (due end of week 2)
Please share historical examples of American Indian agricultural products or practices related to your tribal community. Please write a one page paper telling us about your product or practice, who or what resource you choose to approach, your tribes name and location, and any cultural relevant information that you wish to include. Photographs may be attached or included in a second page.

In a google doc with a group of 2-3, describe the agribusinesses involved in the journey from preparing the soil, to planting, to harvesting, to marketing, to consuming a vegetable, fruit or grain product.
Or, describe the agribusinesses involved in the process of livestock production, from managing pasture or feed, to genetic services, to calving, to marketing, to packing, to consumption.
Discuss the agribusiness operations involved in each step. Remember that there are multiple product/services paths possible. Ask for several examples as a large group.

Activity 5: (due end of week 5)
In small groups of 2-3, create a Google doc and review the five areas of
agribusiness management and the Basic Functions of Agribusiness Worksheet from the previous Topic.
Please identify which management roles were performed by Jack,
Andy or Debbie in the worksheet story.
Final Assessment (due end of week 6)
Record a Prezi or Powerpoint highlighting each of the objectives learned in Chapters 1 and 2, and include perspectives from your own region that let me know how the content that you have explored this semester has applied to you in your context. (Make sure to have fun and be creative!!)
